What is Zen in Everyday Life

Zen in Everyday Life is an ongoing passion project here you will find all kinds of posts aimed at helping to introduce you to the Zen philosophy.

Whether you know what Zen is or have only heard it in passing this website serves as John Keenan’s blog to help teach the virtues of Zen and how it can improve your life balance.

This website quotes philosophers, writers, and other public figures who have shared their experience and research into Zen philosophy.

John will also share anecdotes on how topics have applied to their own Mental health journey to help relate topics back to real life.

Posting History

Below is a calendar that will let you view our recent posts on a per day basis. With the usual schedule including posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Tuesdays feature suggested readings, videos and quotes from public figures. These posts will get you thinking in from new perspectives and considering big picture topics.

Thursdays you will find new blog posts about suggested activities that help cultivating a natural Zen mindset. These activities are ones that that naturally promote a Wu Wei approach which is a core idea of Zen. These activities are merely suggestions to try over the weekend but ultimately you will find activities that work for you.
